Aimed At
Organising staff or staff who have joint roles and need to multi-task, and who are looking for a greater understanding of how to organise an event from an operational perspective.

The course will be designed to assist people who have had very little or no training, or equally who need reassurance on how the event should be organised or who need help or advice.


Objectives
This course is designed to focus on tried and tested formulas around the structure needed to support the event pre, during and post show. There will be plenty of opportunity for individual questions and feedback throughout the training.


Method
The course will be a blend of real case studies , syndicate exercises , trainer input and group discussion. Delegates will focus on best practice and apply concepts to their own events.

o  Understanding the operational budget
o  Event floor plan production
o  Maximising gross to net yield
o  Preparation of rules and regulations( both venue and organiser)
o  Contractor & service supplier appointments and how to safeguard yourself
o  How to produce a user friendly but definitive exhibitor manual
o  Space only stand approvals including complex structures
o  Planning with the venue
o  Planning with the contractors
o  The creation and management of feature areas
o  The planning and control of all on-site activities
o  Post show – what to do when the show is over
